Black people as they refer to us and what they consider poor people are excluded from economic inclusion by mainstream institutions.  Particularly, financial institutions and the governments that “we the people” vote into office to look after our interests.  They fear that economic equality would somehow mean that they loose the fictitious human race they have created and ultimately loose power in controlling the masses.  So much so that they would go to any lengths to make sure that it does not happen.  We must remind them that “no one wins the race in racism.”  Ironically,  the wealth and resources which fuel their economies were built on the sweat, tears and blood of so-called poor and black people and specifically from the motherland of Africa and continues to remain so today.

Although there is a paradigm shift with the internet and emerging technologies such as DLTs (Distributed Ledger Technologies),  Blockchain, Hash graph and the likes.  Applications built on these technologies such as crypto currencies bitcoin etc. seek to level the playing field by making banking fairer and accessible to everyone regardless of race, sex, colour, beliefs or even financial disposition.  Unfortunately, although we usher them in, these technologies are still in their infancy and far too complicated for mass-adoption. The average poor person, especially black people want tangible economic change now!

The current unprecedented situation with the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic affecting people worldwide, deaths, job-loss, business and school closures etc makes it even more urgent that we have an emergency solution now!  The £1 Million Challenge (1MC) http://Nashat.co.uk/1MC is a solution I put forward as a start to helping our community.  It is simple, measurable and achievable.  We are fundraising with a target of £1 million.  Basically, we are asking one million people to donate £1 which we can use to implement a model such as the 5 floors made popular by Dr Claud Anderson and others.  As an activist in the community, working for many years with others with plausible causes including Medianet TV, ADPAC, Nashat, Ace Got Talk Radio, Each Teach Radio, HCC Credit Union, Access UK, Manhood Academy, The Black Child Agenda, Teaching Our Own etc together with many professionals and skilled people in our community we have everything required to implement the 5 floor model mentioned previously.  Do not procrastinate or hesitate, go to http://Nashat.co.uk/1MC now and donate  your £1 or more and share it with your contacts and networks so that we can cater for the needs of the entire community including leaving a legacy.
