This book has been designed to help develop children’s mathematical and science problem-solving skills. It will also aid in the development of their science practical, hands-on skills which will enhance a greater understanding of the discipline. All experiments in this book can be safely performed at home as well as school, but some may require adult supervision.
A small section on financial education has been included which incorporates some basic arithmetic questions with the aim of developing the children’s financial literacy skill set.
Finally, throughout this book, there is an emphasis placed on Africans in the sciences, both contemporary and historical with the aim of developing the pupil’s understanding of science in African and world history.
